Project 365: Curly Things

You would think that with a house full of curly-haired girls, this would be an easy week for me.  However, none of the curly-haired girls would cooperate to have me capture their curls.  So, here are some other curly things I found.

Project 365: Backlighting

I was excited to work more on backlighting techniques this past week, but it proved to be more challenging than expected since the weather was so overcast and rainy several days.  So I didn't necessarily get one picture each day, but when she sun did come out, I ran into the empty lot next door and started taking pictures of the weeds and sunflowers growing there.  It's amazing what beautiful things you can find if you take the time to get close and really look.  I love shooting at this "golden hour" just before sunset!
