Before the Session
Contact me by email or phone to schedule a session or ask any questions. Most sessions are scheduled in the evenings about 2-3 hours before sunset. Sessions may take anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours or more depending on the type of session. When scheduling, tell me about what you’d like to get out of the session as well as your location choice. If you aren’t sure, I can discuss some location options with you. When scheduling a session, I can help you determine which session package options will best fit your needs. Package options must be decided on and payment received prior to the beginning of the session.*
What to Wear
Solid colors and simple clothing choices work best. Try to avoid extremely busy patterns, logos, pictures, or words on any clothing; however, some appropriate polka dots and plaids can be fun for children or teens. Families don’t need to all wear the same color. Lay out all the outfits your family plans to wear and consider whether all of it coordinates. Patterns should go together nicely and there should be some variety. Two or three colors in various shades among the outfits look nice. Also, don’t forget to wear nice shoes that might appear in the photographs or plan to be barefoot for more casual pictures.
After the Session
Your web-sized, digital proofs will be sent to you via email usually within 7-14 days along with a prints and products order form. From these proofs you can decide what you’d like to order. Simply fill out the order form and email it back to me. Complimentary consultation sessions are available upon request to discuss product options to best fit your needs. A consultation session will allow you to view your images in large, high-resolution format before placing your order, and will help you visualize different print size options. Your pre-purchased print credit will be applied towards your print order. Payment for prints exceeding your print credit amount must be received before your order will be fulfilled.* Once your prints are ready, I will contact you to arrange pick-up or delivery of your prints. Please allow 2-3 weeks for print processing.
